The Yacht-Master 40 Ref. 16622

Rolex introduces new model lines so infrequently that they resemble era changes. Since 1967, there have been only two new launches: the Yacht-Master introduced in 1992 and the Sky-Dweller in 2012.

Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf developed the Air-King for RAF pilots in the Battle of Britain, and the company introduced this redesigned Air-King in 2016 with a larger 40mm case. The Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 126710BRLO "Pepsi."

A Rolex GMT is the ultimate adventurer's watch. Introduced in 1955 with the legendary 24-hour scale on the bezel, it was nicknamed "Pepsi". Designed for explorers and equipped with Paraflex shock absorbers to give it more excellent shock resistance, this reference's predecessor was on the first ascent of Mount Everest, and even James Bond author Ian Fleming owned a Ref 1016.
